From tweets to dedications, the musicians mourn the victims of the Orlando shooting.
A gunman, carrying an AR-15 type rifle and a handgun, opened fire inside Pulse nightclub in Orlando, FL, early Sunday (June 12). With 50 dead, including the killer, and 53 more people in the hospital, it was named the largest mass shooting in US history.
Both President Barack Obama and Florida Governor Rick Scott called the shooting "an act of terror."
The music community joined the rest of the world in mourning the victims of the shooting. While the Tony Awards dedicated the entire show to Orlando, Meghan Trainor dedicated her performance at DC Pride.

Adele broke down as she dedicated her show in Antwerp, Belgium, to the victims:
"I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub last night. The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soulmates since I was really young so I’m very moved by it," she said.

Love and hate aren't the same as light and darkness. Darkness and light need each other to exist.
