It’s a DC Comics and Marvel crossover!

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot shared a heartwarming message to her fellow superhero, Captain Marvel‘s Brie Larson, this week, celebrating the opening weekend of the first female-led Marvel movie.

The actress, 33, wrote a sweet note for Larson on her Instagram Story, captioning a fan’s artwork of the two superheroes with their arms linked.

“I’m so happy for you sister! Congrats,” she wrote.

The post was later shared by Instagram account Maxy Artwork, who drew the image that Gadot shared.

Earlier this month, Larson, 29, opened up to PEOPLE about starring as the first female lead of a Marvel movie.

As for how playing former airforce pilot Carol Danvers changed her, Larson said, “Just, in particular, getting strong, learning how to stand my ground, own myself, and value my voice. Those are things that I learned from her.”

She added, “I’ve been very open about the fact I’m an introvert, I have asthma and I was able to push myself further than I thought possible. I’m excited to share her with the world.”

Captain Marvel broke box office records over the weekend, soaring to a $153 million box office debut in North America. The latest Marvel offering continued the studio’s domination overseas, with a $302 million opening weekend, putting the total worldwide gross over three days at a whopping $455 million.

The movie gives Marvel its second-best opening for an origin story, with only last year’s Black Panther raking in more at $202 million, and made its debut at 7th overall in opening weekends for all Marvel movies.
