singing 'Redbone'

While some of The Late Show‘s Wednesday night episode was reserved for Omarosa Manigault and talk of President Donald Trump, there was also a feel-good moment.

During an interview with Donald Glover, the Childish Gambino musician was introduced to Charity, the young Girl Scout who went viral for using his “Redbone” song to sell cookies. “It’s beautiful but it’s also crazy to me,” Glover told Stephen Colbert before meeting the internet star.

“I never was like, ‘I’ll make this and then one day a little girl will sell Girl Scout cookies to it,'” he joked.

Charity came out with her father and gave Glover an order form to buy some thin mint goodness. Those are her favorite, but the Grammy and Emmy winner decided to buy all 113 boxes in order for the young girl to make her goal.

Closing out the exchange, Colbert walked around the audience with Glover and Charity to pass out even more boxes of thin mints.

“Let’s make some people happy,” the late-night host said.
