Another Margaret Atwood TV adaptation is coming to your streaming screens, with the all the bonnets you want and expect.

Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming miniseries Alias Grace, which adapts Atwood’s book about Grace Marks, a Canadian maid who is accused and convicted of murdering her employers in 1843. In the trailer, Sarah Gadon plays Marks, who claims she has amnesia and can’t remember anything about the alleged crime. She says she didn’t commit the crime, but as the trailer goes on, Gadon’s increasingly creepy stares tell us the opposite may be true.

Edward Holcroft plays a young doctor obsessed with her and her case, while Anna Paquin and Paul Gross play her seemingly abusive bosses and alleged victims. We also briefly see Zachary Levi in his role as Jeremiah Pontelli, the peddler/magician/hypnotist who warns Marks while still working as a maid that she is “surrounded by danger.”
