Nicki Minaj is the Hero We All Deserve
Christmas has come early for a bunch of lucky Barbz in Nicki Minaj’s Kingdom (still haven’t gotten used to that yet). What started out as a contest in which one lucky Twitter member would be selected to attend the upcoming Billboard Music Awards as Minaj’s date on May 21 by using the hashtag #NickiBBMAs, someone suggested that an even better prize would be for Nicki to help pay the winner’s college tuition. Not only did she respond, but she’s since followed through on her word!

On Saturday, the “Super Bass” rapper first set the bar at perfect 4.0 GPA, but as she learned about different people entering the contest and their unique situations, she softened her rules. People sent in requests for supplies and books, ranging from $500 to $1200, and she donated towards their education without flinching. One person tweeted that they needed $3000 more to cover the cost of three classes, and Minaj happily obliged.

After the contest ended, Minaj promised to follow through on her word — but not without adding a little humor.
