Press tours can be grueling for actors, especially when you’re Harrison Ford, who thinks “it’s always better not to talk about” the film and to just “f—ing do it.”

That made his interview with British talk show This Morning so much more delightful when the typically deadpan actor cracked up with his Blade Runner 2049 costar Ryan Gosling and interviewer Alison Hammond.

It all started when Hammond admitted she never saw Ridley Scott’s original film. She then began their official chat by saying, “Bleak, dystopian, an absolute nightmare to be honest with you, and that’s just my interviewing techniques.” And it got more riled up from there.

Within minutes, Gosling emerged from his own fit of giggles to pour himself a glass of whiskey. “I feel like that’s where this is headed,” he said. What ensued was much more laughing, drinking, Gosling going to help the cameramen shoot the interview, and Ford exclaiming, “Show me the money!”

Log this with Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal’s interview for Life, and Cate Blanchett talking about sex and vodka for Cinderella.

Ford and Gosling have shared much more about their on-set bromance while filming Blade Runner 2049. “Without getting into too much detail, Harrison and I spent a few weeks in a water tank and we’d have to stay warm in a hot tub between takes,” the La La Land star divulged to EW. “If someone told me I’d one day be sitting in a hot tub fully clothed talking to Harrison Ford, just chatting it up, I would have said I doubt it.”

“He’s a really terrific actor whose work I have admired for quite some time,” Ford also said of his costar. “When I first read the script he immediately came to mind that he play [his character, LAPD Agent K]. I’m delighted to say that he’s also as pleasant and interesting fellow and actor as I’d imagined he might be. He’s been an absolute delight.”
