Romance and making it in Hollywood intertwine in La La Land, the upcoming film from Whiplash director Damien Chazelle.
In the new trailer, Stone (as Mia) and Gosling (as Sebastian) toil away at practicing and auditioning for their chance at Hollywood fame. But then the two meet—and while it looks like the relationship isn't all hugs and kisses, it's pretty close.
The minute-long trailer features Gosling singing the original song "City Stars." (Though it's a syrupy sweet song, Gosling isn't too bad of a singer!)
La La Land, which features J.K. Simmons, Rosemarie DeWitt and singer John Legend, will hit theaters December 2.
