Traversing the country like vagabonds of old, selling their musical wares to a public seeking out music in the miasma of inundation, Strangers you Know have been making the festival circuit (Hangout Fest, Summerfest and Bottlerock Napa) and getting to know their audience. It seems only fitting then that this band of vocalist Grady Lee and multi-instrumentalist Adam Haagen met at Coachella four years ago in a chance experience that has changed their lives forever.

With their new EP, Loosen Up the Leash, just released in March, Strangers You Know are showing that this chance meeting—this musical friendship—is not merely a flash in the pan, but, as anyone who has seen their connection onstage can attest to, just the tip of the iceberg for a band destined to make a name for itself.

Myspace sat down with Lee and Haagen and asked them a few questions to figure out what made them tick, what drove them, but most of all we just wanted to get to know Strangers You Know on a more personal level.
