"she will always hold a very special place in my heart!"
Miley Cyrus is feeling nostalgic for once. Today on Instagram she looks back at Hannah Montana ten years later. In a selfie originally sent to co-star Jason Earles, Miley wears a long blonde wig as she would in the hit Disney Channel show. "Even though I feel disconnected to who I was at that time I would always feel eternally grateful for the opportunity and platform I was given," she says, adding, "Even though HM is chopped up into little tiny pieces and buried in my backyard she will always hold a very special place in my heart!"
At its height, Hannah Montana's ratings were only second to American Idol's, also at its height. As a result, Miley became the youngest to have two No. 1 albums within two months and sell out 70 concert dates nationwide. But this retrospective is the first time in ages where Miley has actually spoken fondly of the show. For example, in a recent interview with she told Marie Claire last fall that she dealt with body dysmorphia and seasonal affective disorder during the making.
