Her UFC opponent Holly Holm also weighs in, sorta.

Ronda Rousey says that she thought of killing herself after her UFC 193 loss to Holly Holm. "Honestly, my thought in the medical room [was], I was sitting in the corner and was like, 'What am I anymore if I'm not this?'" she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "In that exact second I'm like, 'I'm nothing. What do I do anymore? No one gives a shit about me anymore without this.'"

Ronda fought Holly last November to defend her 135-pound title for the seventh consecutive time. She was becoming a household name, no less because Beyonce sampled her "do nothing bitch" speech at Made in America that year. But she was knocked out after a kick to the head from Holm, then sent immediately to the hospital afterwards, which is what she recounted on Ellen for her first talk show appearance ever since.

Fortunately Ronda's suicidal thoughts did not last for long, because she saw someone who gives a shit about her: boyfriend and UFC heavyweight Travis Browne. "I looked up and saw my man, Travis, was standing there," she said. "I'm looking up at him and was just like, 'I need to have his babies. I need to stay alive.'"

Meanwhile, Holly was asked yesterday during a press conference to respond. "For me it’s one of those things it’s like, 'How do I respond to that?'" she said, according to Sherdog, adding, "I don’t want to say that I’m glad that she felt that way and I don’t want to say, 'Oh, I’m so sorry.' It’s something I think that you have to dig through on your own. In the long run, she’ll be stronger mentally from it."
