She’s a Drew Barrymore Lookalike

The first thought that struck us the moment we saw Anne-Marie get on stage to play an acoustic set at the Warner Music Russia showcase in Moscow was her resemblance to Drew Barrymore. She was dressed in a white-and-pink outfit, got furry flip-flops and got her hair up Drew-style — as if she was paying homage to late-90s over-the-top fashion trends immortalized in Never Been Kissed. “Listen, everyone says that,” Anne-Marie says when we interview her later that night in her dressing room. “No, it’s not intentional.” When her tour manager tells her she should finally see Never Been Kissed, the singer agrees though: “I guess so.”
