The boy band will continue on as a four-piece.
Just a few days after One Directioner Zayn Malik was photographed in Thailand with a gal who wasn't his girlfriend, and just a couple days after rumors that Malik wants to quit One Direction, the boy band has announced that they will now offiically be a foursome.
The Brit boy band just broke the news via Facebook, complete with official statements from just about everyone involved. Take a look below.
One Direction first launched after forming and finishing third in British X Factor in 2010 with Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. According to the Sunday Time Rich List (that's a thing), the band has an estimated personal combined wealth of $41.2 million as of 2012—making them the second richest musicians in the UK under 30.
