Dave Grohl may still be recuperating from his leg injury from the summer, but the Foo Fighters frontman will be making a cameo on the revived TV series, The Muppets.

Set to air on December 1, Dave will appear in an episode called "Going, Going Gonzo," where he will challenge Animal to an epic drum off. While this sounds a bit ridiculous to some, this isn't the first time the former Nirvana drummer had a part in a Jim Henson flick. He played Animool, Animal's replacement drummer in The Moopets, in the 2011 movie, Muppets.

Guess it looks like Animal wants his place in the band again, and he's gotta duel Dave to do it. Catch Dave Ghrol's cameo in Muppets below.
