Usher has taken music videos to another level with his new video for "Chains." The R&B crooner forces us to take a hard look at racism and police brutality in a video that really draws you in and doesn't let go.

Premiering on Tidal this morning (October 16), the video, which can only be viewed using Google Chrome or Firefox, instructs you to turn on your webcam, which will outline your silhouette. Once it's gotten your image locked in, the clip begins to show a montage of those who have fallen victim to police brutality and gun violence including Trayvon Martin, Sean Bell and Michael Brown.

"While racial injustice keeps killing, society keeps looking away," the video presented before the montage.

And Usher makes sure you are really watching. If you happen to move away from the screen, the video abruptly stops and "Don't Look Away" appears on the screen.

The song features Nas and Bibi Bourelly, who deliver powerful verses to the orchestral track.​

"In writing this song, I was motivated by the events involving prejudicial injustice that are still happening today," Usher told Complex. "The reality is that racial bigotry diminishes the lives of too many people in our country. We have to come together as a country to solve these problems and this is one way I can contribute."
