Udo Wenders is a German volksmusik singer from Austria who won the Grand Prix der Volksmusik in his homeland in 2008.
Hailing from Feffernitz, Carinthia, he won the Austrian prize with his song "Letzte Zug, Cara Mia" and proceeded to finish in seventh place overall in the annual international volksmusik contest. A full-length album debut, Letzte Zug, Cara Mia (2008), was subsequently released on Koch Universal. "Letzte Zug, Cara Mia" was a Top Ten hit in Austria. ~ Jason Birchmeier
