San Francisco-based alternative rock trio the Trophy Fire craft melodic, hook-filled tales of life, love, and loss, all of which draw from the harmony-laden electro-keyboard pop of the mid- to late '80s and the soaring stadium rock of the early aughts.
Formed in the late 2000s around the talents of Ben Flanagan and brothers Adam and John Schuman, the band released its debut album, A Lifetime in the Middle of the Ocean, in 2008 on Talking House Records, followed by Armor in 2011, the latter of which arrived via Greyday Records. ~ James Christopher Monger
