A jangly indie pop affair whose melancholy tunes nodded to the Field Mice and the Trembling Blue Stars, London's the Sunny Street formed as a collaboration between Electrophonvintage frontman Remi Parson and vocalist Delphine.
Beginning in 2006, the duo released a handful of singles on various labels, including They Hurt You Everyday, released on Lavender Recordings, a split 7" released via Slumberland's Searching for the Now series (the flip side of the disc featured A Sunny Day in Glasgow), and a self-titled single released on Cloudberry Records. ~ Margaret Reges
