Arising from the Denver music scene in 2010, The Silent Divine presented to the public their ground-breaking demo; including songs such as Wicked Lies, Falling Down and Fade Away.
Heading the song writing, Ray Booty and Johnny Perry began to work on laying down more and more music. Corey Clark and Tyler McGowan were then recruited to fill the bass and rhythm guitar duties. After five more songs had been completed and recorded, Stevie Roberts found himself to be the perfect fit as The Silent Divine’s drummer. Six months after completing the band line up, The Silent Divine was nominated into the top 18 bands in 106.7 KBPI’s Best Band in Denver competition. August 2011 marked the released of their debut album, “All In On Nothing”, while they headlined the 13 band all day concert, “Bloodfest 2011”.

“All In On Nothing” encompasses the bands inspirations and inner angst for the current state of the Denver music scene. With songs such as Portrait of Silence and Artificial Departure, The Silent Divine proves how they set themselves apart from the rest of the pack. One the other spectrum of their diverse sound, songs like Fade Away, Left in Descent and Tragedy of Choice give the listener an inside look on the bipolarized minds that conceive a sound that is hostile yet beautiful.

Due to obligations to another music group, Clark and McGowan left the band. The bass position was swiftly taken over by the band’s longtime friend, Nick Brito and guitar duties are being filled in by Spike Coyne of Bridges Left Burning. Currently the band is working on their follow up album; continuing their signature sound of catchy and bone crushing breakdowns, backed by razor sharp guitar riffs. The Silent Divine has expanded on their sound in every direction, adding life into a genre that has become watered down by carbon copies. The Silent Divine has proved that they are a force to be reckoned with, as their music appeals to metal fans and non-metal fans alike.

New Album "Secrets & Apparitions" out May 31st, 2013.
