The Big Church of Fire is a three men rock n' roll task force playing Rock, Blues, Western Folk and Neo-psychedelia.
First emerging in the portuguese music scene in 2007, they recorded their debut EP in New York with world class rock n' roller Mr. Matt Verta-Ray (Heavy Trash, Speedball Baby) and with mastering being handled by Mr. Masaki Liu at One Way Studios in San Francisco.

The EP, named "For Tura with Love", is dedicated to cult-movie actress Tura Satana, femme fatale and a kung-fu kick ass baby who, by pure chance, was an acquaintance of the band! (.. it's a small world!!)

Their influences are The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Johnny Cash, Led Zeppelin, The Legendary Tiger Man, Dead Combo, Jack Daniels and Constantino (portuguese brandy booze - the good stuff).

They've had the pleasure to play in well know venues, such as the Cabaret Maxime in Portugal, an old famous cabaret turned into bohemian venue in the heart of Lisbon, or the Lakeside Lounge in New York City, famous for having featured music legends on stage such as Joey Ramone, Dolemite, the Yayhoo's and also home of the best jukebox in NY.
