Painkiller: The band are currently in the studio recording their first album and preparing to launch their much anticipated new single 'Painkiller', once again teaming up with director Jim Crone to shoot the video for the song...Phil previously signed to an American record label had toured internationally and Joe had done much the same until his love of recording him give it all up to become an engineer/producer. So with experience in no shortage they relied on it heavily to find the right line-up. Talent was important but, they were looking for intuitive federates who would contribute and nourish the songs. Simply picking the most gifted musicians was not going to cut it. Drums were a gimmie, Joe called on his old band mate and reliable session drummer Mark Cuming.

Guitarist Andy McCalliser was floating between some of Belfast's top tribute bands and was actually at the showcase gig so needed little convincing.

Joe actually spotted talented keys and pianist Matt Rice while recording in his studio with another band, impressed with both his technical ability and

practical knowledge. Line up complete and ready to rock!

● Band Members.

Drums: Marc 'Cupcake' Cumming - Old school rock solid drummer with an almost infectious character but, with an addiction for cakes.

Guitar: Andrew McCallister - Quiet and unfazed but transforms into a riff animal when on stage.

Keys: Matt 'the professor' Rice - Up for anything personality, with a real flare for arrangements and live experimentation.

Bass: Joe Goudie - Driving Punk style bassist and very much the bands engine room.

● Resurrection video: Halloween 2012 saw the release our first music video Resurrection. Directed by Jim Crone and featuring Jenny Curran one

of Irelands top models. After hearing Resurrection or the first time, Crone called and wanted to meet up, a deal was struck and a date was set for

the shoot.

The live performances scenes were shot in an huge warehouse Crone had found during hie tireless hunt for locations, it's natural floods light

beaming down onto the floor creating the perfect cathedral like ambience for the opening line of the song; "the kiss of summer sun, burning in my

skin" genius! Phil was then crucified half naked at dusk, for the chilling beach scenes, before being slowly brought back to 37º C by the stunning

Jenny Curran in the role as the seductive - vamp girl.

We had a lot of fun shooting the in the live band scenes, Crone kept his direction to a minimum wanting us to be as natural as possible. For the

cinematic parts Phil was superb, all his experience as an actor making it a breeze for him. We are really fortunate having an actor as a frontman.

We have all seen those music videos were the singer looks really awkward and unconvincing. Phil revels in it! With virtually no budget Crone has

managed to create a beautiful, dark and sexy but romantic… death story.

● Bittersweet Anti-War/Human rights video. Released in 2010 The idea of the video was not to shock but, to raise awareness and show some of

mankind's worst qualities such as War, Racism and Human Rights issues. The video instantly turned heads with it's controversial content and

attracted the attention of Amnesty International Ireland. However, never really getting beyond the discussion stages. They asked if we would

consider removing some potentially 'sensitive' content but, felt it would defeat the whole purpose of the video and the rest is history. We still of

course continue to support Amnesty after all, someone has to watch the watchers! Music ©Dixon/Goudie

The idea of the video came about when we seen a news article on TV about a proposed change in the national curriculum removing the teaching

of a certain critical event by the Nazi's during the second world war. Needless to say this article lead to a lot of debate and we felt strongly enough

about to speak out! Although very careful not to take sides or point the finger of blame at any one, country or religious beliefs. After all Ireland, our

own country has had it's own fair share of atrocities in our bloody past, yet sends out a loud and clear message what a religious divide can do to a

people. If we don't learn from our past and educate our children then, atrocities such as the holocaust, the Bosnian genocide and many, many

human rights abuses will continue to repeat themselves?

● Note:

The version of Bittersweet on the Resurrection EP was produced by Benjy King and mastered at Masterdisk New York by Scott Hull. The version on

the Bittersweet video was actually a demo mix, was never mastered and was also very different! This was due to interest in the Bittersweet video by

Amnesty International Ireland, so the video version of the song was rushed out and somehow got leaked onto the internet. There were so much

initial interest and so many downloads of the video, that the band decided to leave it up there.

● What's next?.

Recording is underway of 'Painkiller' the bands much anticipated new single Again Jim

Crone will direct the video and budget permitting we are really looking to stretching the boundaries of our imagination.

● Influences:

David Bowie, Jeff Buckley, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Prince, The Clash.
