The Husband & wife duo are natives of the historic music city in North West Alabama & have been singing together for 20 years.They released their debut album "Ruckus" in early 2008. With "Ruckus", the duo released what they believed a modern southern rock album should sound like.Bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd & guitarist such as Duane Allman who recorded in their home town in the early 70's, influenced Phillip & Dana at an early age. At the end of 2008, the duo won two Muscle Shoals Music Awards for Best new artist of the year & for Best new album of the year! They even went as far as performing several shows throughout the year with one of Lynyrd Skynyrd's own, Jo Jo Billingsley original "Honkette" backup singer".

In 2011, the group took time off while the duo recovered from serious injuries they sustained from separate accidents that occurred. In 2014 the duo returned to the stage with a backing band out of the Birmingham,Al area.State Line Mob performed shows throughout the Summer & fall making a statement that they are back & here to stay.For Phillip & Dana,music is their calling & their fans are listening in.The answer?

Phillip & Dana continue to write new music keeping their rock/blues roots in check.As the end of 2014 nears & 2015 approaches, they are very excited for what lays ahead of them on the horizon.The duo team are in the process of recording demo songs for future release & to take them to the stage with a new touring band.The duo are scouting for labels & management that will take them under their wing for new artist development. They have a following across the U.S, Australia, Europe & are presently getting new airplay in the U.K & abroad.
