Slow Claw's progressive indie rock was born in Nashville, where the band honed its craft by canvassing the club circuit for several years.
In January 2009, members Rob Barnes (vocals, guitar), Brian Miller (bass), and Chris Denholm (drums) traveled several hours east to Charleston, SC, where they began work on their debut album with producer Joel T. Hamilton. Grandfather Clocks was released later that year. ~ Andrew Leahey
