SHADOW (noun)- An inseparable companion(websters-online) consists of two members Vineet Malhotra(A T.V anchor,model,writer,producer,classical pianist) and Rajan Adlakha(Architect,Sound engineer).
Though hailing from the same high school a chance meeting at a reunion after 14 long years brought the two together through common interests in music. Sparks flew and they decided to collaborate with a common thread binding them together-MUSIC.After many brainstorming and composing sessions they realized that the music they make doesn’t fall into any of the existing genres! So they decided to coin a genre for themselves – WORLD PROGRESSIVE SOUND. The genre essentially covers their music which borders on NEW AGE, AMBIENT, DOWN TEMPO, WORLD, FUSION, fused with liberal dosages of electronica.
Recently all their songs have been put for download on international sites like iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Emusic, Nokia, Myspace music etc.
Looking at the future the Band has decided that it is the elctronica scene they want to conquer with their genre and change the way people look at electronica right now.
So make way people…..SHADOW has arrived!!
