Comprised of Patrick, Roxanne, Graeme, and Andy Friendly (all former members of likeminded indie pop groups Bricolage, the Royal We, and Dot to Dot), Glasgow's Sexy Kids formulated a luminous twee sound that nodded to seminal indie pop outfits like Talulah Gosh and Dolly Mixture.
The band's debut 7" single, "Sisters Are Forever," garnered quite a bit of attention from indie pop-centric bloggers when it was released on Slumberland Records in 2008. ~ Margaret Reges
