untry. After working in all different kinds of manual jobs in Israel as well as in Europe, Gonen landed in Goa, India, in 1994. The following years he was living between Goa and the Himalaya Mountains (Manali, Kasol), travelling from times to times to Europe and some Asian countries, stopping by in Israel to visit and having three restaurants in India: The “Rhino” in Manali, opened in 1997, the second Israeli restaurant in Goa called “Banana Beach” from 1998 and the last one – “Sanpedro” – opened in 2004 in the hills between Vagator and Anjuna.

His active participation in Trance music Gonen started soon after his arrival in India in 1994: In Manali he organised his first parties, some of them inside the village in tennis halls (in the Monsoon season) and others outside in the deep jungle of the mountains where one could only reach after a half an hour drive by car and a walking tour through the forest, which would not take less than five hours and mostly around seven or eight. It was Manali as well, where Gonen had his first experience playing Trance in 1995. Since ‘98 he has been playing on bigger parties in Goa in front of One to Four Thousand people, most of them taking place in the “Disco Valley”, the “Bamboo Forest”, at the “Banian Tree” or the “Hill Top” in and around Vagator/Anjuna and lasting between one to three days. Many of those parties he organised himself. In between Gonen always tried to catch any possibility to play in any other country like Israel or Thailand (Full Moon Party). In 2003 he attended the School of Music and Production “MUZIK” in Tel Aviv and started to create music himself developing his own style of energetic psychedelic Trance with a touch of happy craziness. Gonen tries to build his tracks like stories, making them long and using diversified interlaced sounds surprisingly arising in unexpected moments. His intention is to take the listeners high by accessing and following the stories and reaching the spiritual dimensions created by his music.
