PROWLER combines metal with some old, chilling horror and thriller lyrics as well as quotes and live samples directly from the actual movies themselves. The vocals range from melodic to death, the death to add to the horror element and emphasize the theme even deeper. The concept is deadly contagious and each song is written about an individual horror, slasher, or thriller film.

2013 began with much promise as the OFFICIAL release of their debut album “AFTER YOU” was 1-1-13 on SLANEY RECORDS. “AFTER YOU” immediately received screaming and impressively slashing reviews throughout the world (www.reverbnation.com/prowlermusic/press) with much praise and adoration for the young 3 piece.PROWLER just released its EXCLUSIVE limited to 100, box set “MORE GRISLY THAN EVER” in May through SLANEY RECORDS. This box set features the debut on CD, an exclusive cassette version with new artwork, OFFICIAL VHS deluxe casing with NEW artwork, a PROWLER embroidered patch, a PROWLER button, SLANEY RECORDS button and a C.O.A (certificate of authenticity) all hand numbered and hand-signed 1-100. On July 20th PROWLER released their 4thvideo, “BOOK OF THE DEAD,” that paid homage to the 1981 original EVIL DEAD. PROWLER is planning their OFFICIAL- U.S. release in the states on Friday 13th, December at House of Blues. This show will really cap off an amazing year for PROWLER as they head line the House of Blues and continue to slay the masses with their brand of horror movie metal.

2012 marked the terroriffic year for PROWLER as they forged an alliance with SLANEY RECORDS and put out their debut full length, "AFTER YOU" on New Years Eve, 12-31-12, to a massive, hungry-feeding, world-wide prowlite audience and following. They also capped the year off with a music and video licensing contract agreement with the world renown show ZOMBIE GO BOOM and made a debut cameo on their BEST OF2012 MOMENTS video, featuring PROWLER's first song THE DEAD RISE AGAIN as the soundtrack to the entire video. PROWLER on September 22nd, 2012, released their 4thand final EP of the limited run series entitled PART 4, "THE FINAL CHAPTER." Also released that nite was a special, hand-numbered, limited to only 50, BRAIN SPLATTER PACK boxed set containing all 4 parts, a signed autographed poster, two original PROWLER stickers and more...... PART 4, The 2song EP , features "KNIVES FOR FINGERS" (based on the original 1984"A NIGHTMARE ON ELM ST.") and "WHAT'S YOUR PLEASURE" (based on Clive Barker's 1987 HELLRAISER). PROWLER released their 3rd EP, Halloween of2011 entitled PART 3. PART 3 features the two terrors, “SAY HELLO TO THE NITE(based on the best vampire film ever, Joel Shumacher’s 1987, “THE LOST BOYS”)and “HADDONFIELD,” (from the 1978 slasher film that started them all, John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN). In June of 2011 they released their debut follow up,entitled PART 2 to a growing and hungry audience. Selling out of their first press the first week, PART 2 features the two tracks, "THE STALKER"(encompassing any slasher, stalker, thriller film with a female victim and samples taken from Savini's 1981 "THE PROWLER"), and "THE TALL MAN" (based on the 1979 cult Coscarelli classic, PHANTASM). Their debut EP, entitled "PART 1," was released in January of 2011. It introduced the 2 tracks, "THE DEAD RISE AGAIN" (based on Romero's iconic,classic, 1968 black and white, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD) and "FRIDAY THE13TH," (based on the 1980 Original).

PROWLER has gained a steady, devoted following and has been embraced with critical acclaim from all walks of the living, dead and undead. The PROWLITES also have released four videos, one for "THE DEAD RISE AGAIN" in March of 2011 and the other from PART 1, "FRIDAY THE 13TH," in August 2011, one Friday April 13th of 2012, the first track from PART 2 for "THE STALKER" and one on July 20th, 2013 based on EVIL DEAD, entitled "BOOK OF THE DEAD," released only on the debut full length, "AFTER YOU."
