Composer/producer Perquisite is well known for his year long collaboration with MC Pete Philly as the hiphop duo Pete Philly & Perquisite. They toured all over the world and won several awards. After their split up in 2009 Perquisite moved into the field of film composing and was awarded with a Golden Calf (Dutch Oscar) for the first movie he did the score for, 'Carmen van Het Noorden'. In 2010 he released his solo-album 'Across' on which he collaborated with 12 different vocalists. After being on the road with his band for a year, he started to work on a new album with singer Kris Berry. The result 'Lovestruck Puzzles' was released September 2013 and received a lot of critical acclaim. Single 'LetGo' became megahit on radio 3FM, entered the Mega Top 50 and, accompanied by their live band, Kris & Perq performed on all the big radio- and tv-shows in The Netherlands. The album also got nominated for a 3FM award. At this very moment the duo is undertaking a second club tour across The Netherlands. Besides this, Perquisite composed the music for the feature film 'Hartenstraat'by Sanne Vogel which was released in theaters on March 13th and received the gold status already in it's first week.

A part from being active as a composer and producer, Perquisite also runs his label Unexpected Records and has been responsible for the management of Pete Philly & Perquisite since it’s establishment in early 2004 until it's disbandment late 2009.
