California-based duo Pacific Air make melodic, breezy indie pop.
Originally formed under the name KOKO in 2012, Pacific Air features the talents of brothers Ryan and Taylor Lawhon. The siblings recorded several songs which they posted to Bandcamp. The material quickly caught the attention of Republic Records who purportedly signed the band a week after the tracks appeared online. To avoid confusion with several other bands, the brothers changed their name to Pacific Air and in October of 2012, released the EP Long Live KOKO. In 2013, Pacific Air returned with their debut full-length album, Stop Talking. ~ Matt Collar
