Based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, screamo ensemble Outline in Color was formed in 2010 from the remains of a handful of like-minded local acts.
Specializing in a blistering blend of breakdown-laden electro-metalcore and soaring and melodic post-hardcore, the hard-hitting sextet, which features the talents of guitarists Forrest Mankins and See Jay Cochran, bass player Michael Skaggs, drummer Austin McFerrin, and vocalists K.C. Simonsen (clean) and Trevor Tatro (screams), issued an eponymous EP in 2010, followed in 2012 by a Kickstarter-funded long-player, Jury of Wolves. The Standby Records-issued Masks followed in 2014. Outline in Color's third LP, 2016's Struggle, found them building in intensity while dialing in on their lyricism. ~ James Christopher Monger
