Oiki is a producer of electronic dance music whose dubstep- and trap-inspired tracks have earned the admiration of Skrillex and Caspa, as well as rotation on BBC 1XTRA.
A native of Moscow, Russia who eventually based himself out of Miami, Florida, he became one of the key artists on the Dub Police label in 2013. That's when "Groove," included on the five-track Get It Now EP, along with the standalone single "Are You Scared," broke his label's online sales records. These breakthrough tracks had more space and nuance than those released by most of Oiki's contemporaries. "Ratchet" arrived the following year, and the growing list of big-name fellow producers with whom he shared the stage included the likes of Borgore, Flux Pavilion, and Skrillex. ~ Andy Kellman
