CCM singer Nikki Leonti was tapped as a soloist in her Corona, CA church choir at age seven, and at 13 made her first recordings on a tiny local label.
Three years later, Leonti's full-fledged debut LP, 1998's Shelter Me, was issued on Pamplin Music. Postcard from Mixaco followed in the spring of 2000. ~ Jason Ankeny
