New York City is known for breeding some of the best indie rock bands, from The Strokes to LCD Soundsystem and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. To celebrate and bring focus to the music that defines New York, filmmaker Jake Hoffman (son of actor Dustin Hoffman) has been working on a movie called 'Asthma' that "examines the consequences of the live fast, die young mentality of NYC's indie rock scene."
