After a series of appearances as a backup singer, soloist, and duet partner on albums by Latin Christian pop mainstay Jesus Adrian Romero and his Vastago imprint, Marcela Gandara signed with the label and recorded her 2006 debut, Mas Que un Anhelo, which received an ARPA award in 2007 for Release of the Year.
