Deeply emotive Serbian pop vocalist Luka Ivanović goes by the name Luke Black.
A native of Čačak, he moved to Belgrade to study English language and literature, but not before he started recording a series of albums that only his friends were allowed to hear. Following his first live public performance, he was signed by the Serbian wing of Universal Music and made his debut for the label the following year, in 2015, with the subdued "D-Generation." Later in the year, after the relatively upbeat but still aching "Holding On to Love" was issued, Black released Thorns, an EP. Another single, "Demons," arrived the next year. ~ Andy Kellman
