Since early childhood, singer Leslie Satcher dreamed of a career in music, specifically, a life in country music.
She moved to Nashville attempting to follow the route of her pioneers, but found herself as an established songwriter for Music City instead. For several years, this jaunt molded her songwriting craft, penning songs for some of the genre's biggest chart toppers: Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Womack, Randy Travis, and Lorrie Morgan, just to name a few. But Satcher's Texas roots also kept her grounded, never giving up on her own music deal, which finally came true at the turn of the new millennium. Inking a deal with Warner Bros., Love Letters marked her debut in early 2001. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
