“The Moon King” is Currently a Work In Progress! I started it over 2 years ago and have plans to continue on it again after a long break from painting in general. He will be on the moon representing an observer of the planet instead of being on top of the world as people portray. He is holding a book to represent always learning and studying. The candle represents the world flame and the owl represents the wide eyed wisdom and perception that a king must have. He is holding a Crystal staff for the wizardry and magic he possesses. The egg on his robe represents him being a caretaker and nurturer of ideas and people. Finally the Ankh on his crown represents the eternal life and his godly nature that he is. I have many more plans to add intricate details that represent me as being on my conscious evolution and spiritual path of enlightenment. I started this piece to represent what I embody and is a self portrait of my mind.
