Holland Revival from Wilmington, NC.
By aligning their unwavering dedication to the do-it-yourself work ethic with a signature sound, singer/guitarist Brian Bland, bassist James Whittington, drummer Greg Blair, and keyboardist Royce Williams are defining the landscape of today’s independent music. Holland Revival's stylistically eclectic songs suggest a range of influences from Steely Dan to Pink Floyd—that hook the listener with intricately woven melodies driven by solid rock rhythms. The 2014 ten song release, CHEMISTRY, brings this no nonsense talent to the public with a explosion of subtleties that is a refreshingly authentic treat for your ear hole.

The name originates from two of the members living on Holland Drive. All the music is original and written as a true collaboration, between the five band mates. Holland workshops and generates ideas weekly, meticulously working musical phrasing, tempo, tone and rhythm. Having no exact style or genre as comparison Holland uses the term "Jazzy Rock" as a descriptive for their unique and often subtle jazz, rock and R&B sound. The set of recordings presented is a first attempt at cataloging Holland's early works. These are Live Recordings with each song being work in progress. As the songs evolve with new ideas and feedback, from colleagues and friend,s the music will then be recorded, produced and packaged as a professional product. Holland's future ambitions are humble, having only interest in creating art, and presenting their art to the people. The love of music and the brotherhood of creativity is their loftiest of goals. Please enjoy this early effort by a band of musicians, who truly have the love of music, and the inspiration of enchanting the listeners.
