With humble roots J Quess' first real exposure to hip hop didn't come until the age of 13.
But, once discovered he immediately fell in love. Over the course of time, he began to try his hand at the craft, starting with rapping over instrumentals from CD singles he bought. A published poet, his gift for the art of rhyme became very apparent. With these gifts he hopes to reach people to let them know that nobody is alone in their struggles and to just tell his story.
