Stockholm-based house producer/DJ Jesper Dahlback records and remixes for European labels such as Svek, Drumcode, Earthtones, and his own label, Blank, under a number of different aliases, including Persuader.
He has also worked with J.L. Hutha as Brommage Dub, with Seba as Sunday Brunch and with Adam Beyer, whom he met on a train traveling to 1993's Berlin Love Parade. Soon after, Dahlback launched Globe Studios with Beyer and co-produced the single "Stay With the Machine" with producer Stephan Grieder. His work with Grieder helped steer Dahlback toward producing and spinning deep house; by the late '90s, he emphasized the DJ side of his career, gigging across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Canada's Turbo Records signed Dahlback and released Stockholm Mix Sessions, which was named one of 1999's best mix CDs by Mixer magazine; in 2001, he returned with Stockholm Mix Sessions, Vol. 2. ~ Heather Phares
