Jabberwock is one of the great unknowns of U.K. punk, a band that emerged aboard on a single 45 released by major label MCA in early 1977, "Sneakin' Snaky"/"Fortune Teller," and was never heard of again.
Based on the single's writing credits, the band lineup featured Messrs. Reeves, Vandekleut, Harrison, and Jennings, and it is generally agreed that all four were session musicians slumming it in a punky direction -- the vocals are a pure post-Pistols snarl, even if the guitar solo does step out of character somewhat. ~ Dave Thompson
