Recalling the reggae sound of the ‘60s and ‘70s, contemporary roots reggae singer I-Wayne (born Cliffroy Taylor) hails from Portmore, Jamaica.
After a string of singles that were minor hits, the singer hit big time with 2004’s cautionary tale “Can't Satisfy Her.” It would land on his 2005 album, Lava Ground, which was followed two years later by Book of Life. Both albums were released on the VP label, as was the singer's 2011 effort, Life Teachings. ~ David Jeffries
