Dandilion Wind Opaine (of Dandi Wind) and Marta Jaciubek-McKeever concentrate on the darker aspects in their take on the disco revival, with song titles like "Cannibal" and a detached singing style. The female duo formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2007 and moved to Vancouver, B.C. before releasing their 2009 EP, A Coin for the Well. Producer Szam Findlay, violinist Marlene Ginader, and drummer Tony Dallas were brought in for live shows and, as a five piece, the group supported Little Boots and Vampire Weekend for the first few months of 2010, as Last Gang Records prepared Fan Death's debut full-length Womb of Dreams for a summer release. ~ Jason Lymangrover
