Elina, originally from Finland, moved to London to study music. In 2011, Elina played her first shows as enkElination, joined by musicians she had met during her studies. In 2012, Metal guitarist Shadow (Shadow Venger, ex Empyreal Destroyer) joined the band taking things to the next level. A 3 track EP was released shortly after and the band continued to play the London circuit playing such prestigious venues such as The Underworld (with Van Canto), The Borderline and the Intrepid Fox.

Much of 2013 was spent recording the debut album, 'Tears of Lust'. This album is now due for release on 21st July 2014 and with more shows and festival appearances lined up, they are generating a huge buzz, and everyone who has seen them perform live is unlikely to forget them anytime soon.
