Donning masks to conceal their true identities while laying waste to innocent listeners with their decapitating blend of blackened/crust/doom/death/sludge, Dragged into Sunlight emerged out of Liverpool, England in 2006, and made their nihilistic ambitions plain with a 19-minute holocaust masquerading as 2009's Terminal Aggressor EP.
Duly snapped up by the intrepid souls at Prosthetic Records, the quartet, whose members are known solely as T (vocals), A (guitar), C (bass), and J (drums), began working on their first full-length release for release in early 2011 whose title, Hatred of Mankind, clearly doubled as an official mission statement. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
