The two met while Simko, an American, was staying in Bucci's native Chile. Prior to joining with Simko, Bucci was already an established member of the Santiago music community, with performances alongside Dandy Jack and Uwe "Atom Heart" Schmidt to his credit, in addition to production work with his brother Pier (as Bucci, for WMF). As Detalles, Bucci and Simko released the full-length Shapes of Summer on Cologne's Traum label in 2003. ~ Andy Kellman
