As a 14-year-old Bengali rapper and yard dee-jay Deedar Zaman co-founded the Asian Dub Foundation.
At the age of 5 he was breakdancing, listening to Greensleeves records and Bob Marley. They released various acclaimed albums through...

Nation, London Records, EMI, Labels and Virgin Records. The band had a great reputation for their live shows and supported bands on tour such as Rage Against The Machine and The Beastie Boys. Deedar left ADF at the end of 2000 to start work on his own projects. Producing his own tunes, vocaling, playing bass, binghi melodica and keys alongside drums played by the late Style Scott from the On-U Sound stables and Dub Syndicate and drums played by Horseman from the Prince Fatty Stables. Working closely with Trevor Boucaud @ Crusial & African Head Charge, Dennis Rootical @ Iration Steppers, Adrian Sherwood, Skip McDonald & Ghetto Priest @ the ON-U Sound stables. After a critical spell he's back pon top.
