“The lyrics were inspired by a James Dean quote I came across

- "Dream as though you will live forever. Live like you will die today."

The riff to the song had actually been hanging around for a couple months before I came across the quote. I knew I wanted to use the guitar riff somewhere and make a feature of it as it was so addictive to play but it was taking awhile for it to find a home. Then coming across the JD quote it all clicked and gave the song a direction and from there it all came to life very naturally and fast.”

Glenn Mossop.

Quotes

"New Zealand exports BONJAH have got all the makings to be one of the next big ‘Australian’ bands. Well-written songs, good-looking guys, and enough triple j airplay. There’s no doubting that they deserve the large amounts of praise that they have been receiving of late." - Tone Deaf

“Glenn Mossop’s rich vocals bring to mind Jeff Buckley’s sad timbre, giving the music an edginess some of BONJAH’s contemporaries lack.” - Rolling Stone

"Just when you think you've got BONJAH's sound pegged, they deliver this great,

subtle pop song. I reckon they're one of the hardest working acts in the country at the moment." - Dom Allesio, Triple j

"Go Go Chaos is an honest record with some incredibly inspiring moments of beautiful song writing and delivery. It’s time for that band that everyone’s talking about to break out. An explosive force in Australian music. Unstoppable." - The Drum Media

"Go Go Chaos is evidence that the band has discovered a sound, and it is a sound

that they are darn good at creating. Singer Glenn Mossop’s aching vocals are

reminiscent of those of The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach." - The 59th Sound

"The five-piece are on their way up and out, quickly becoming one of Australia’s favourite bands. Glenn Mossop’s rich vocals have a melancholy depth to them that make Bonjah stand out from the rest. Catch them while you still can." - Time Out
