French pop-punk trio BB Brunes features members who have known each other since they were kids.
In 2005, a demo recording caught the ears of a college friend of the band who passed it along to his father and former member of the rockabilly revivalist trio Les Costars who had just created his own label. Excited by BB Brunes' youthful exuberance and punk attitude, Claud Sitruk signed the band. A series of high-profile gigs subsequently led to the band recording its debut album Blonde Comme Moi which was released on Warner in 2007. During 2009 their second disc Nico Teen Love appeared and contained popular single “Lalalove You.” A year later the French quartet released a self titled EP -- their first English-sung material -- and the fan-favorite track “Dis-moi” featured on popular video game Rock Band 3. Their third album, Long Courrier, was released in 2013. ~ Matt Collar
