My previous projects were "PISTOL PISTOL" a four piece rock band who released 2 records (a full length and a 4 track e.p.) independently in 2007 and again in 2009. The band went through interpersonal issues and split 2009. During the split I had started going to bass music events and getting really into the culture that was "dubstep". I went to my first party in 2007 to see skream in Los Angeles, then frequently attended the old bass face and smog parties in warehouses downtown with a fake I.D. saying I was 18. That changed the game for me, I started incorporating bass music into my rock and hip hop solo project, which I was working on at the time with producer jon brown, Birthing the "doc brown and the kid" e.p. in 2009. The record waslater released in 2012.

During all of this, I was doing vocal work for Kendrick Lamar, singing hooks and getting releases on the label TOP DAWG ENT, and my focus has engulfed myself in my solo project, which is as me as I can possibly be.
