One day, in the dark corners of the internet,

a crazy joke theory emerged about Avengers: Endgame. What if, to defeat Josh Brolin’s Thanos, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man shrunk down, crawled up his butt, and then burst out of the Mad Titan by growing back to life-size? This “theory” has taken on a life of its own and made its way to Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night stage this week.

As Rudd assembled with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Scarlett Johansson for “Avengers week” on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host asked Rudd about this absurdity.

“You know this one, Paul?” Kimmel asks.

“Yeah,” the actor responds, because this is his life now. “Look, these lips are sealed.”

There’s so much the stars of Avengers: Endgame can’t talk about, and that now apparently includes definitively stating whether or not Ant-Man crawls up Thanos’ rear. So instead, over the course of a more than 17-minute segment, the actors talked about their favorite moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and how bathroom breaks for the three-hour movie should work.

“Mark [Ruffalo] said that you should wear a diaper,” Johansson said. “Then you don’t have to get up, but you’re also sitting in your own urine.”

“Get one of those giant tubs of popcorn and then just lower it under your seat in the middle of the movie,” Rudd suggested.
